After going through years of education on her constant companions, she found herself monitoring her daily actions. She naively presupposed that once these were identified, they could be easily be substituted or even dismissed.

Knowledge had been essential in the early days. There was plenty of joy in learning, for it was a requisite to understanding. Once one masters the concepts she thought, one could alter the behaviors.

Lately, she has begun to examine the steps which prompt these behaviors. She had been told that actions taken by individuals to provide self-protection, implanted themselves into their character.   At the time, she believed that with awareness, she would no longer be susceptible to these limitations.

However, she has begun to understand these practices flow naturally. They have been ingrained into her being.  She easily goes from insomnia to nightmares. At times, she has difficulty with concentration, and completing assignments.  She has always been easily frightened, and routinely holds her guard up for future dangers. Then there are the re-experiencing of memories, which always come unexpectedly.

She has been given the strength to be highly productive, and reliable. She believes she in a new creation in Christ; 2 Corinthians 5:17. She knows that she is seated with him in the heavenly places, and acknowledges his great power; Ephesians 1:18-20.

It is a matter of timing.

Currently, she is waiting to overcome while knowing, she has already conquered.
